Wellfleet-HSSI-MIB.mib object view, vendor Wellfleet

Introduction

Most network devices and programs ship with so-called MIB files to describe the parameters and meanings (i.e.: friendly names) which are available for monitoring via SNMP.
ActiveXperts Network Monitor 2024 can import vendor-specific MIB files, so it can be used to monitor specific OID's (Object Identifiers). This way, you can monitor your devices, computers, etc. by selecting your relevant OID's by name.

ActiveXperts Network Monitor 2024 can import MIB file Wellfleet-HSSI-MIB and use it to monitor vendor specific OID's.

Note that this has relevance only in the BNX switch and (currently) Frame Relay and SMDS switching functionality. If enabled, congestion control will monitor the levels of traffic and congestion and mark and drop certain packets as per of Frame Relay or SMDS protocols. See BNX doc for details on the congestion control strategy.
wfHssiLastChange .1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.4.7.1.62
The value of SysUpTime at the time the interface entered it's current operational state (UP state). SysUpTime is defined as the time (in hundredths of a second) since the network management portion of the system was last re-initialized. Usually the time since boot.

The instantaneous current length of the output packet queue (in packets).
wfHssiCarrLossDebounceTmo .1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.4.7.1.64
This attribute determines how many seconds to wait before transitioning to the Carrier Lost state when the Carrier Signal is lost. When set to 0 (default), the Driver will immediately transition to the lost state upon detecting Carrier Loss. If the Carrier Signal returns prior to reaching this threshold, the Driver will not enter the Carrier Lost state at all.
wfHssiModule .1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.4.7.1.65
Module number for ASN platform, filled in by driver. For non-ASN platforms this attribute will not be used.
wfHssiActualConnector .1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.4.7.1.66
Actual connector number for ASN platform, filled in by driver. For non-ASN platforms, this attribute will not be used.
wfHssiLoopback .1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.4.7.1.67
Loopback type requested, Local Digital (Loop A), Local Line (Loop B), Remote Line (Loop C), or none
wfHssiReceiveAllFrames .1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.4.7.1.68
This attribute enables delivery of all receive frames to the HSSI device driver for processing. When disabled, frames less than 4 bytes in length are filtered out of the receive frame stream before reaching the device driver. It is necessary to enable the attribute when running Frame Relay switched virtual circuits (SVC) in order to allow the reception of 3 byte frames.
